"Thank you" is a feeling, a spark of warmth, a connection, an acknowledgment, an appreciation, a touch of gratitude, respect and love, a kindness, a sense of joy, and the beauty of shared moments. "Thank you"—a small phrase that uplifts, connects ,  and brings light to our interactions. MR MUNNYRAJA

invisible love- EYES

Image
No matter how crowded the place is, the moment I see my husband, the instant our eyes meet,  that moment becomes just ours. In that glance, there's an indescribable warmth and a deeply touching meaning that reaches into the depths of my soul.  A soft, joyful spark of love fills my heart, like a silent conversation between souls, without a single word. In that brief moment, time stands still, the entire world fades away — and all that remains is the two of us. Even in the midst of any rush, the moment our eyes lock, an unspoken warmth and                          a gentle spark of love fill my heart. MR Munny Raja

The Morning Tea with My Sweetheart

Image
The Morning Tea with My Sweetheart It was 5:30 in the soft silence of dawn. After the Fajr prayer, I tiptoed into the kitchen, where dreams still lingered in the air. I rinsed the teapot gently, as though preparing a sacred ritual. I boiled just enough water for two hearts, added two crushed cardamoms—like secret whispers—and a spoonful of tea leaves, rich and fragrant. As the aroma filled the air, I poured in the milk, letting it swirl like a tender embrace. When it was ready, I carefully strained the tea into a cup and then poured it into two glasses—one for me, and the other for the soul who completes me. I walked over and offered the glass to my everything—my love, my heartbeat, my calm. We sat together in the gentle hush of morning, sipping slowly. The tea was warm, but the moment was warmer. A stolen slice of time… where nothing else mattered. No rush, no noise, just us. A quiet closeness. A thousand unspoken words floating in the steam. And in every sip… love. "The first c...

The Bed Coffee

The Bed Coffee                                                                                                                                                                      It was 5 AM. The sky had just begun to lighten, like a shy whisper of dawn brushing against the dark. Lying on the cold hostel bed, wrapped in quiet stillness, the memory of that familiar morning coffee stirred gently in my mind. Should I go down two floors just for a cup? Was I feeling lazy? No. I chose to go. Because some mornings deserved a little more. I slowly picked up my toothbrush and walk...

Talent: The Hidden Gem in Your Palm

Image
Talent: The Hidden Gem in Your Palm Talent is a hidden gem, quietly resting in the cupped side of your palm—unseen, yet always with you. Often, we go through life looking outward for validation, waiting for the right time, the right stage, or the right opportunity to shine. But what we fail to realize is that the true treasure lies within us, nestled gently in our hands, waiting patiently to be discovered. Just like the cupped palm that can hold water or cradle a seed, we hold within us gifts that are powerful, personal, and uniquely ours. Many of us underestimate our potential because it doesn’t roar—it whispers. It doesn’t always seek attention, but it longs to be nurtured. Sometimes, talent reveals itself through a quiet sketch on a rainy day, a heartfelt speech at a small gathering, or a spontaneous melody hummed while doing chores. These little sparks are clues to the diamond we carry inside. The beauty of this hidden gem is that it doesn’t vanish when ignored—it simply w...

The Power of Small Daily Progress in a Big Career

Image
The Power of Small Daily Progress in a Big Career. In the journey of building a meaningful and multi-passionate life, especially as a mother and a woman with dreams, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed by how far we still have to go. But over time, I’ve discovered that success isn’t about big leaps—it’s about small, steady steps taken with purpose every single day. Whether it’s guiding a student as a tuition teacher, sketching a new pot painting, designing a graphic in Canva, or inspiring someone through a Toastmasters session, each moment becomes a stepping stone in a fulfilling journey. There were times when I felt torn between nurturing my family and nurturing my own growth. But instead of waiting for the perfect moment, I embraced small actions—offering a calligraphy class, helping someone as a career counselor, flowing through yoga with my students, or preparing a loving meal just for my family. These may not look grand from the outside, but they brought me closer to who I truly ...

Is Sitting Cross-Legged in Public Considered Rude?

Image
Is Sitting Cross-Legged in Public Considered Rude? Sitting cross-legged in public is generally considered acceptable, but its interpretation can vary based on cultural norms and the setting. In many Western cultures, it's viewed as a relaxed, natural posture used by both men and women. However, in some Middle Eastern and Asian cultures, showing the sole of your foot while sitting this way may be considered disrespectful. The formality of the environment also matters. In formal settings like job interviews, official meetings, or public speaking events, it's usually better to sit upright with both feet flat on the floor. This posture shows attentiveness, respect, and confidence. On the other hand, in casual or informal settings, sitting cross-legged is usually seen as comfortable and perfectly acceptable. Body language experts also point out that while crossing legs can indicate confidence or ease, it can send mixed signals depending on your overall posture. For example, if ...

"Why Should You Dress Well and Be Well-Mannered at Public Events?"

Image
"Why Should You Dress Well and Be Well-Mannered at Public Events?" Today, let’s talk about why it’s important to dress beautifully and behave gracefully at public functions. Have you ever wondered why we are often reminded to dress well and carry ourselves with grace at public events? Dressing beautifully and being well-mannered isn’t just about appearances. It’s not about impressing others with expensive clothes or rehearsed smiles—it’s about respect. Firstly, it’s a sign of respect for the occasion . Whether it’s a formal event, a celebration, or a cultural gathering, every event holds significance. When we take the time to dress appropriately, we silently say, “This matters to me.” Secondly, it shows respect for others . When you meet someone who has made an effort to look presentable and behave kindly, don’t you feel acknowledged and appreciated? Our attire and behavior set the tone for the energy we bring into any room. Thirdly, it reflects respect for ourselves ....

We, Just Ourselves

Image
We, Just Ourselves  “We, just ourselves.” These words may seem simple, yet they echo with depth and truth—especially in a Toastmasters journey. When we first step into a Toastmasters meeting, we may be surrounded by applause, encouragement, and smiling faces. But deep inside, a silent question arises— “Can I really speak in front of all these people?” And that’s where our journey begins—not with others, but with ourselves. Every speech we write, every role we take, every time we stand before an audience, our real challenge is not the timer, not the evaluator, not the audience… but the person within us. The self-doubt, the fear, the hesitation — these are the true hurdles. But here’s the beauty of Toastmasters: It doesn’t ask us to be perfect. It doesn’t ask us to copy anyone. It simply encourages us to be... ourselves. In a world full of comparisons, Toastmasters is a space where you can just be YOU. Your voice, your accent, your story, your struggles — they all ...

"Why Am I Unhappy? A Soulful Reminder to Cherish Life"

Image
"Why Am I Unhappy?  A Soulful Reminder to Cherish Life"     It’s a question that quietly lingers in the corners of my mind, not always loud, but present—a whisper from within that something feels out of balance. Maybe it’s the weight of expectations, the constant giving without pause, or the silent forgetting of who I truly am amidst the roles I play. But in asking this question, I realize it’s not a sign of weakness—it’s a signal from my soul, gently nudging me to pay attention, to slow down, to reconnect. And so, from this moment, I choose not to dwell in the shadows of that unhappiness but to rise from it. From this moment, I choose to cherish my life... not because it’s perfect, But because it’s mine. Because I am  still here, Still learning, Still growing, Still choosing love. With every breath, I choose to rise from the heaviness, to hold space for both my joy and my pain, and to walk forward with intention. This life is mine—and I ...

Breath – A Marvel Beyond Words

Image
Breath – A Marvel Beyond Words Breathing happens through our lungs. These organs are among the most vital parts that keep us alive. However, it’s only when something goes wrong with the lungs that we truly understand the value of breath. Conditions like asthma, pneumonia,  Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), and cancer can severely affect our lungs, making even a single breath feel like a struggle. It is in such moments that we realize the pain of not being able to breathe even for a few seconds. The inability to take a single step, to lift our hands to our head, or to even clench our teeth—this unbearable feeling becomes all too real. At that point, even the simple desire to climb a single step feels like an unreachable dream. Only those who have gone through this will truly understand the terror and trauma of not being able to breathe. That’s why every single breath should be accepted with gratitude—as a divine, precious gift. There are many small yet powerfu...

Desert Hyacinth: Cistanche tubulosa

Image
Desert Hyacinth Species: Cistanche tubulosa Have you seen this flower standing like a symbol of wonder in the scorching sands of the desert? The Desert Hyacinth (Cistanche tubulosa) is a widely distributed annual that produces a dense pyramid spike of bright yellow flowers topped by maroon-tinted buds. The Desert Hyacinth, Cistanche tubulosa, is a remarkable plant with no leaves. From the arid soil of the desert, its buds reach out and release their beauty to the world. Since it lacks leaves, it has no chlorophyll and cannot perform photosynthesis, relying instead on a unique survival strategy. It wraps its roots around those of other desert plants, essentially "stealing" nutrients to sustain itself. The plant’s true presence is only revealed when it blooms. Until then, it remains hidden beneath the sand. Thriving in the harsh conditions of the desert, Cistanche tubulosa showcases the resilience of life even in the most extreme environments, creating a striking contrast with...

"The Story of Petunia: More Than Just a Pretty Flower"

Image
Petunia is a genus of 20 flowering plant species that are native to South America. The popular flower known by the same name, petunia, gets its name from the Tupi-Guarani word "petun", which means "tobacco." Interestingly, petunias are closely related to the tobacco plant. Most of the petunias found in gardens today are hybrids (commonly known as Petunia × atkinsiana or Petunia × hybrida). Petunia belongs to the Solanaceae family (also known as the nightshade family). This family also includes well-known plants like tobacco (from the subfamily Nicotianoideae). Some botanists classify plants from the Calibrachoa genus under Petunia, but this view is not universally accepted. In fact, Petunia hybrids are often formed through a cross between Calibrachoa and Petunia. In 2023, the USDA approved for sale a genetically engineered bioluminescent petunia hybrid, known as ‘Firefly’. These glowing white flowers shine because they contain genes from a bioluminescent fungus. S...

“Silent Killers: The Deadly Power of Tiny Wings”

Image
🔸 In a country where elephants, leopards, and tigers are known for their deadly encounters with humans, it is rare—but equally tragic—to hear of people losing their lives due to wasp or bee attacks. Yet, such incidents do occur. In one alarming case, an individual on a trip lost their life after being attacked by a swarm of bees. Reports mentioned that there wasn’t a single body part left unstung. This has sparked fear and surprise among many. Most of us tend to ignore these small creatures, but when we understand their defensive strategies and aggressive nature, it becomes clear how dangerous they can be. In Kerala, four types of bees are commonly found, with HONEYBEES being the most dangerous among them. These bees are believed to be responsible for many such fatal encounters. Wasps and bees, though similar in appearance, differ in their attack methods. If their nest is disturbed—intentionally or accidentally—they become highly aggressive. They don’t spare any living being near...
